Print Making
This week we read a book called Cat on the Mat. We used cardboard to make a base to take a print from. Next we had to put paper on the top and rub a crayon over the base to create a print.
Buddies
Room 1 have a buddy class - Room 10. We meet on the Fridays when there is no School Assembly. Last time we made leaf rubbings to use on our poem of the week called Autumn Leaves.
As part of the school whanau celebration Room 1 joined with their buddy class Room 10. We introduced our buddy to our whanau.
Assembly
On Friday 30 March Room 1 were one of the rooms presenting items at assembly. Caleb, Mama and Carys. introduced our item.
Room 1 presented their whanau pictures for assembly. They were someone special in our family.
Athletics Day
On Tuesday 20 March all the Year 1-3 children from Waverley Park School went to Salford School for a fun day of athletics. At lunch time there was a sausage sizzle.
